A new concept from MINI called The Clubvan has been announced and the concept is described as a compact lifestyle van for business and leisure purposes.
It uses the MINI Clubman as a base model but the rear passenger seats have been removed as well as the opaque polycarbonate panels located at the rear window. Hence, highlighting a flat floor in order to maximize cargo capacity while still maintaining the five-door layout. Notable to say, a stainless steel separator with honeycomb design is located behind the seats to avoid any loose cargo objects from hitting both the passenger and the driver.
This concept also features side-hinged rear doors for easy cargo access.
This Clubvan concept is just one of the three new models reportedly MINI is considering besides a rumored wagon and sedan that are also in MINI’s planning for 2020 launch.
