Motor Trend has released two renderings illustrating their idea of what the next Esprit may look like.
The Esprit nameplate will return to an all-new Lotus vehicle that will be based on a wider, longer version of the Evora's architecture. These renderings are our best look yet at what the Esprit will look like when it arrives in the flesh. Taking clear styling cues from both the Evora and the the Elise/Exige, the new Esprit brings plenty of exotic flair to the premium sports car segment. Its steeply raked windscreen and sharp, aggressive nose leave little doubt as to the Esprit's racy intentions.
